What is a Home Health Care?

Home Health care is assistance provided with the goal of promoting a client’s sense of normalcy and well-being in the comfort of their own home. These services can be provided by a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nurse Assistant, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Certified Home Health Aide and/or a Personal Care Assistant.

Are you licensed by the state?

Yes! We are licensed by the State of New Jersey to provide preventative, rehabilitative and therapeutic services to clients in their home or place of residence. We are licensed to provide skilled nursing, pediatrics services, personal care assistance, home maker-home health aide/companionship, occupational, speech and physical therapy services.

What payment options do I have?

Our services can be purchased privately. Options to purchase 4 to 24 hours of service per day, including live-in care is available. Invoices are sent out weekly and are due upon receipt. Please note that we also work with Long Term Care Insurance companies which can be billed directly for services (authorizations must be obtained before beginning services).

What do you charge for your services?

We have very competitive rates for all our services, as we only charge you for the services that you need. For example, if you only need our personal care services at the beginning you’d only be charged our base rate.

How soon can you start services?

Generally we can start within 24 to 48 hours of the referral. Our case management team will arrange a Complementary Nursing Assessment visit and complete your personalized plan of care.

What if I need help after your office is closed?

We have a Registered Nurse on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist our Clients with their Care Needs. Please call us at 844-422-7388.

How do you choose your staff?

Our Collaborative Care Team is carefully screened prior to hire with testing, skill level assessments, reference checks, criminal background checks, DMV reporting, random drug testing, TB verification, and screening against sex offenders lists. Each caregiver is then bonded and insured through our agency. All professional staff hold current licensure with the state of New Jersey and must meet continuing education unit requirements imposed by the State of New Jersey. As healthcare are ever evolving, our staff must also complete in-services/trainings designed to inform about the latest trends in care support techniques for in-homecare. The Nursing Supervisor will also provide in home training and supervisory visit will be randomly perform to ensure quality and continuity of care.

Do you provide assistance in Assisted Living Facilities?

Yes. Sometimes assistance provided in an Assisted Living Facility is not enough. iCare Home Healthcare Services can provide this added choice of care available to you at any place you call home, any day anytime.

Can I change the schedule if I have a conflict?

Changes are easily accomplished with as little as a 24 hours’ notice. Our philosophy is to make the schedule work for you and your family not the agency. Your Goal is Our Goal.

How do I start Services?

Just contact us at 1-844-iCARE88. We will have our staff come to your home and conduct a Complementary Nursing Assessment as well as interview with you. At your direction, we will then identify caregivers who have the skills, personality and availability to assist you.

Do you provide discounts for daily and 24 hour service?

After our competitive hourly rate, there is a more affordable flat rate for whole day and 24 hour care that takes effect for clients that use our services for more than 10 hours at a time.
